Daar waar de rivierkreeften zingen werd dit jaar verfilmd, wat het boek ook weer de nodige publiciteit opleverde. Zelf heb ik de film al gezien, het boek ligt nog op mijn TBR. De Nederlandstalige editie van dit boek is maar 10 euro.
Synopsis: Kya Clark is in haar eentje opgegroeid in het moeras van Barkley Cove in North Carolina, afgesloten van de bewoonde wereld.
